I'm trying to find a way to do a strong side, butt to the rear, shoulder holster. I'm both large and long-torsoed. The long torso makes a belt CCW rig difficult to conceal under a jacket...nothing short of a topcoat is long enough. The large chest makes a conventional weak-side shoulder holster impractical. What I (and I suspect others) need is a shoulder holster on the strong side...effectively a high-riding belt holster, but on a shoulder harness.

Anyone have a good idea of how to pull this off? Thanks.

I agree, but the OP did say, butt to the rear, so a LH version would do exactly that. HOW you would draw, IDK.

I had to read and leave the thread before I guessed the OP is looking for a vertical shoulder holster and not a typical horizontal shoulder holster.

Now I can see how this could be conceivable, though I still think this would be very difficult to pull off.

Interesting concept, but I'm not sure it would work with anything other than the lightest guns...and the thinnest wearers.

I saw a setup like what you describe in a couple european tv shows, racked my brain thinking how you would draw effectively from it before concluding that someone on the set just did it wrong the first day and continued. You might have to do the same.
