I had a Beretta 21A that I horse traded towards something else. Always kind of missed it, so I ended up getting another one a few years later.

Neat little gun IMO if you can appreciate it for what it is.

IMG_20190913_170056.jpg I know it's not a true mouse gun. But I went w a .380 for pocket carry. Paid $280 lcp ll. Going to range Sunday. Any recommendations on carry ammo to try? Edit put 380.00 instead of 280.00

XTP hollow points seem the be the consensus best choice unless you go to one of the Lehigh Penetrator loads. I carry American Gunner XTPs because that's what I could find locally, and I think they're the same as Hornady Custom except a couple of bucks less per box. Fiocchi and Precision One also load XTPs and they've tested well too but I haven't ever seen the stuff. Check out the AmmoQuest videos on YouTube if you want to see some of the testing, in particular the 380 winner video and then the follow up video on the Lehigh load. The best thing about those videos he's using a pocket pistol so the results you see should be what you'd get out of your gun.

I haven't ever shot the Lehigh stuff but the American Gunner XTPs run great in my LCP.

Ty I'll check them out.

I don't know if it's a mouse gun, but my LCPII is pretty small.

So is my Pico.

My P32 is smaller than either.

My Star CO 25acp is small and kind of rare.

I also have a Bauer 25acp... isn't it a copy of a Browning and/or Colt?
the Bauer was a copy of the Baby Browning. PSP/PSA I think is the only company making something like them now.

Tallball

PSA or Precision Small Arms makes a licensed copy from FN of the Baby Browning. And while they no longer carry any parts for the Bauer/Fraser copies, they do offer various parts, grips, magazines, and holsters for their version of the Baby Browning.

I love my mouse gun, this much!

I had the Astra Cub version of your Junior Colt. Mine was in .22 Short and I was amazed by the amount of craftsmanship that went into making such a tiny gun work!

Nice ...I had one passed down, looks new and they are extremely well made. It seems some were made for Colt by Astra and some by Colt in New Haven and is so marked. I looked up the serial number on proof house and it was made in 1973.

Thank you! I need a magazine and a set of grips. I appreciate your excellent advice.

You're more than welcome. I was actually thinking about getting a basic set of grips because the faux pearl ones are kind of thick and can always use another magazine. Looks like the least expensive grips are nylon impregnated polymer and go for $24.99 while the magazines are around $40.

I have several .32 revolvers, but this Iver Johnson .32S&W Safety Hammer is in the best shape of all of them.

I scored a box of 50+ rounds of older ammo for $10 recently. I don't know when Peters stopped making ammo, but this stuff can't be much newer than late 60's, right? Copper primers!

These are about all I can say are “mouseguns” that I have, both are .22 LR.

A S&W 317 3”

And an Iver Johnson TP-22

I have an AMT backup .380 which is about mousegun sized, but that’s a tad larger caliber than called for...

Stay safe.

Looks like I'm buying a Keltec P32 this weekend. Seeing all these mouse guns makes me miss my .25. Going to step up to .32 will post picks.
I have carried a p32 for 2 decades. Get some European fmj & stick to that. Look at the primers & if they are sealed that's usually a good indication the mfg. makes good ammo.
