What is the most recent knife you bought?

Vehement Knives/Kopis Design Oxus. Exactly like this one, minus the red liners. 5.79" blade of 3V, brass guard and subhilt, green canvas micarta handles.

Last knife I bought was a byrd rescue 2, and that was about 2 years ago if I remember right. I make knives though, so buying them is a rare occasion anymore.
Last knife I made for myself was a couple months ago. A hoof knife, used for trimming horses feet.

A Higonakami Mizu Shibuki like this one bellow. Does not leave my pocket when I'm off work - a great little beast.

This beautiful Buck Sprint was the last knife I bought.

Best knife I've ever owned. Two years hard use and it still shaves arm hair.

I don't remember which but it was one of these two.

The one on top is a CRKT Ignitor. It's their entry level knife and it cost 30 bucks. For that price it's a pretty good value it's a well-made knife that holds its edge well and if I remember right they guarantee it for life against everything but abuse

The second is a Buck 285 Bantam. I bought it to have a cheap pocket knife for work that I wouldn't get butthurt about if I lost or broke it. I'm pretty sure it cost less than $20.

Bought a used Buck, 501 Squire from ebay. Pretty good shape, haven't carried it yet, don't want to dump it into the chunk of keys I carry.

Opinel 10 in stainless

Back in march, I bought these Rough Riders to give away as prizes at my annual BP rifle shoot.

I kept the hunter for myself to be my new hunting knife.

I snagged a "used" (read: unused) Zero Tolerance 0562 a month ago. I had sold some other knives a few years ago with the intention of buying one. Life happened, and I never did. Then I saw one for a good deal on another forum and jumped on it. It is a very nicely balanced knife that handles quite well.

I bought 3 carbon steel fixed blades at the last fun show.
Got a pretty good deal on them, too.

The knife before that I bought a Buck 113 (Ranger Skinner).
Decent little knife; fits my hand well.


If I see something neat, I will pick it up.
"Need" has nothing to do with it.
Haven't "needed" any in awhile...

If you ever get out in the field with a Bark River "Gameskeeper," and use it hard, you'll never again be satisfied with a "lesser" knife!

Last knife I bought is my current EDC knife. Walther BTK-2. For a $20-ish knife I am very happy with it.
