Kimber EVO - Did they get this one right or is it just another Solo?

The new EVO looks good and has gotten good reviews. Once in a while the reviews we see in the gun rags don’t match up with the experiences of individual owners. I would appreciate hearing evaluations from actual EVO owners please.

I asked a local range how they've run for rentals/buyers and they said they didn't have any issues.

Then again they are a Kimber master dealer so who knows how true that was.

You should look up Rob Pincus (sp?) review on Youtube. He is a well known Kimber hater and even he gave a rave review.

I picked one up several months ago. out of the 4 small "EDC" type guns that I own

XDs-9
P365
P2SK
Evo SP

The Kimber is by far the best of the lot. They hit a home run as far as I am concerned.
Mine has about 1.1k rounds, so far no issues. The 365 and XDs will be finding new homes soon.

Neither have given me a single issue. Never really liked the XDs but carried it as it was thin and reliable. 365 is just blah to me. It works but definitely not enamored with it like most here.
