Electro pen on bolt M 38 Swede

I believe some import laws required the bolt to be removed when shipped, they may have just marked it so it was not mixed up. Still have the headspace check just in case.

take the bolt apart and look at the numbers on the fireing pin. they should match the last three numbers of the rifles serial number.

The Europeans do tend to go for electro pencil numbers even on factory numbered parts.

Eastbank is correct. Someone swapped the bolt at some time but it was probably not the Swedish military. You can actually still get New Old Stock bolt bodies for the m94/96 Swedes for about $25 or so bucks from Century International or for a bit more by resellers. The Swedes made a lot of spare bolt parts for some reason.
