I bought 1500 rnds of this stuff and just shot a couple hundred rounds through an M&P15-22 (semi-auto) rifle. I had no failures to feed. Every single round functioned great without issue. I was very impressed. This stuff is much better than the Remington high velocity 22LR (green box) that I was testing it against. I have come to realize that quality 22LR ammo can make or break a .22 semi-auto rifle. I would strongly recommend this ammo due to reliability and I love SGAmmo's excellent customer service.

I bought a brick of this Winchester Xpert HV HP 22lr when SG first got this in and I am extremely happy with this ammo. This stuff shoots great out of my rifle and my pistol, a two-fer! Great ammo for plinking and having some good old fashioned fun with the family. I'm back to buy a case because at this price this stuff is sure to sell out soon. Just thought I would put my 2 cents in. Sgammo has been my go to ammo dealer for quite awhile. Great service and fast shipping. Best place to buy ammo period.

I've got a box of that stuff, same white box, from about 8 years ago never made it thru all 550rnds couldn't get it to feed any of my semi .22s and it would jam in the chamber of my bolt gun.

true i heard of a lot of issues of the old stuff . maybe they fixed the production issues remember back then it was mass produce because of the 22lr shortage craze

I don't buy HV anything anymore except Mini-mags for use in a Henry AR7. In most all of my 22LR rifles, anything supersonic is not as accurate as subsonic. Wolf/SK Match, CCI Standard, and Remington SS are about as inexpensive as I allow myself to buy. Above that it's Eley and others.

i was shooting high velocity with my Remington 597 and phoenix 22 did good with it and its a better at penetration for self defense if in a pinch
this is the brass one just like the lead xpert bullet with large hollow point
note video time 2:35

The bullets are too bid in diameter & will not function in any of autoloaders. They work fine in the bolt guns though. I bought some of the Browning labeled Winchester a few years back & had the same problem. When .22lr ammo won't function in my nylon 66, something is wrong.

i mic'ed the Winchester m-22 and it come out at .224.5 so its the only one that won't lead my ruger new bearcat! and it shoots great in my other rifles and pistols!
