Besides Classic, it seems Centerfire Systems has some deals on old sks rifles. $250 is not bad for a one, conditions though....well, my gunsmith special is in better condition. But hey, its not like they are making the old ones anymore. Just passing it along.

Tomorrow I'm buying a Russian SKS with 500 rounds of ammunition for $350, local face to face sale so no paper trail. Good deal if it's a Tula, excellent deal if Izhevsk. Seller doesn't know what he has, pictures show excellent original condition. I'll be happy even if it's a rearsenal. My Chinese version was $89.95 back in the last century.

I have this great memorie when I was little. My dad picked up 2 crates of them, some were the fiberglass stocks to. He got them for $49 each. Of all places it was a liquidators store. Counselling those pages for his gun hobby for a few years.

I have two Yugo's, a Russian, and a Chinese SKS. I went shooting last weekend with a number of old warhorses, the newest being the SKS. I had taken a twelve pack of generic Kroger Orange Soda for reactive targets and there was one left at the 50 yard mark. One shot with the Russian turned it into a fog of orange before I went out to pick up my litter. You cannot have enough SKS.....
