How do you like the wood stock american, I'd guess it's the American farmer theme.

I love it of course. my family got it for me for xmas a couple years ago.
It hasnt shot super tight groups, but I haven't taken time to try different ammo to see if it prefers anything in particular.

Clear Ridge- great scope only 11oz. Also like the very small Utg Bug Buster with detachable mount. Fits nicely over my "Skinner" sights.

Try either the CCI GamePoints or Hornady 30gr Vmax.

My Henry was a profound disappointment. I won it in a PPC regional match in 2003. They were still using plastic barrel band/front sight assembly’s. It shot 3” at 50yds and 6” at 100yds (5-shots). My Rem597mag and Marlin 882 shoot 1-1.5” at 100yds.
I prefer the 40gr CCI GamePoints. They use the Speer 40gr PtSpt bullet. They’re even accurate from my Heritage Arms Rough Rider.

Looks like it might need to be to clear the iron sights and hammer.

I'd rig up some kind of lace on riser pad to get a little better sight picture/cheek weld.
