Hiya Guy's :) .. I know we get lucky at times and turn up something nice from time to time, but sometimes you come across something truly out of the ordinary that's one of a kind that really makes you grin. Well, this is one of those times and at first I didn't even know what this was when I had this elusive FEG FP9 Vent-Rib High Power fall in my lap. I guess I got lucky when I found out a friend who makes V-Twin parts had it and inquired about selling it for a good price because the Finish was pretty much toast even though you've done a pretty good job of polishing it out nicely, needless to say he didn't have to ask me twice. I realize it might be a good idea to reblue this gem eventually but for now I'll leave it as is, and he put a lot of time into cleaning this up & buffing it out and I think it looks pretty nice. Realistically this is just a P9M (modified) with the extended slide stop & safety and 3 Dot sites which I prefer over the standard P9 + the out of the ordinary yet still pretty kool vent rib that runs the full length of the slide which makes it an elusive strange duck to say the least and I'm just happy I was able to acquire it while I could :) .

Yes, the magazines interchange with standard HiPower.

Neato. Im not usually a fan of ribbed barrels (Llama, ugh), but I dont hate that one, lol.:D

Agreed, after owning several things from all 3 Spanish manufacturers, Llama, Star & Astra I can honestly say mama is the bottom of the barrel of the three and I'm not really a fan of them however I love the Star Firestar but the AAstras are damn nice weapons from what I've seen :)

Super nice find of a somewhat rare bird!

The FEG PKK-9HP a friend of mine owns is well made and has a very high level of quality in it's overall fit and finish. It also has some pretty decent high visibility sights and looks really sharp with it's two tone finish.

The BHP we shoot today is not the gun JMB patented. It is more Saive than JMB. Saive designed the mag which was the starting point and he finished the pistol after JMB passed.

If you look closely at my avatar you will see JMBs last patent which is not the BHP we shout today.

To the OP nice find enjoy it.

The vent rib makes it look sorta-kinda Auto-mag-ish, I like it!

For a "knock-off" manufacturer, Hungary's FEG sure did make some nice guns. My .380 SMC fits and shoots better than my Walther PPK/s did...so I kept the FEG and sold off the Walther.

Cool find, congrats!

Stay safe.

I bought a FEG High Power to shoot until I could afford a Browning. Shot so well that I hard chromed it and don't really care if I get a Browning.

Also had a SMC 380. Did better than my Sig 232. Unfortunately, I always ended up slide bit. Had to get rid of it.

The PPK style guns will bite sometimes. Not a lot of beavertail in the grips of older guns... but I read it’s been improved on recently made Walter PPK’s.

The Hi Power FEG made is a great gun for sure!
Stay safe.
