I’m running high volume 6dasher on a 1050 and I need a way to consistently lube inside case neck for a step where I run brass through a Sinclair expander mandrel

Any suggestions?

I am currently using imperial wax but also have the old bonanza micarta kit which would be cool stage on a progressive if I could design a little hopper to keep putting micarta on the brush

How would you apply it so that it gets in the neck evenly?

anyone ever tried using one of the barrel cleaning mop type attachments soaked in lube?

I don’t have the carbine one. Maybe I should upgrade. Good idea.

This is what I use

Little ceramic balls are coated with graphite. Just dip the case neck into it. Puts an even coat inside and out

looks cool and better than I’m doing now but how would you do that on a 1050?

I dip them one at a time, then spray a batch with Dillon lube, then dump them in the hopper.

Here’s the downside. That black graphite tends to make a mess

So I was wrong about spraying with lube. It does get just enough inside the neck to run rapidly through the expander.
