Badger grips Ruger sp101

I’m not a fan. They are two piece, and the seam in the back chipped in multiple places when I touched off a couple .357 loads.
Thanks for the info I had 2 sets of Eagle grips that did the same thing they did replace the first set but after the second set cracked i just tossed them and put my old ones back on this was on a Ruger SBH

My Badgers didn't last long because of so much palm swell for my smallish hands and no rest for the pinky. That shot okay though, but the grip is rather wide (fat) compared to others.

This pic is my story in grip search, finally realizing that the gun was for concealment not target and then appreciating the original grips or those of the same size. There are so many because I used to own two other SP101s. The one I wound up with on the 327 was the Thai combat or the stock rubber with inserts. The 357 works great for me with the Hogue nylon combats, my favorite all purpose grip. The same grip in rubber is tacky against clothing and a threat to concealment.

The Badger is at the lower right. The Thai is to the lower left. This thread caused me to decide to retire the worn stock rubber and go with the Thai at the same length and width (concealability). I like finger grooves. The Thai has a rest for the pinky, a great fit for my hand.

Thanks for bringing this topic up. I have a SP101 and I am trying to decide on grips for it. I am looking really hard at Altamonts offerings. I like the texteured grips look.

I will take a good look at these as well.

I have two concerns on any aftermarket grip like these:
1.) Fit-will they fit perfectly or will I have to play junior gunsmith and hand fit them?
2.) Duarability! Will they last?

I've bought several sets of Altamonts and never had to do anything to have them fit perfectly. Just put 'em on. My oldest set is on a SIngle Seven and I shoot it fairly regularly with no durability problems. The grips still look new. I've put them on a GP 100 and a couple of Blackhawk convertibles also with no complaints. And the prices are hard to beat.
