All... after giving up on the priming system on my 8 station lyman turret press, I called the factory and three days later got a new complete priming system with one addition. It's a plastic rod that goes inside the priming tube to push the primers down it. It works ALOT better now!!!
 
Good to hear. Congrats.

Many of the column-fed primer tubes need a rod to act as a weight to keep the primers feeding. They'll do OK when full, but performance can drop off when the column gets more empty and thus lighter. In some instances, you may need to actually add weight.

Don't get "smart" and swap the rod for something else. The rods are typically made of anti-static material to keep from setting off the primers. If one primer gets ignited, then the whole column is going to ignite. That will lead to some unpleasant ceiling repairs.
 
Thanks for the reply. Don't worry! Nothing but the plastic rod will be used! I like my ceiling just the way it is!!!
