One of my coworkers bought one for his wife. When I helped her with defensive shooting training, I found the striker released with trigger very close to the very back of pull with longer reset than Glocks. Trigger itself was smooth and light (not heavier than 4.5 lb trigger of my Glocks) like SA trigger of my Mil Pro PT145 SA/DA trigger. And once you got used to the longer striker release/trigger reset, fast accurate shots at multiple targets at 7 yards was very doable.
If you have larger hands (XL glove size), I would definitely recommend you dry fire G2C compared to Glock 19/M&P 9 2.0 with longer trigger length of pull.
If the trigger doesn't feel comfortable, anticipate additional training to get comfortable with the trigger.
Between Taurus G2C with 12 round capacity and Glock 19 with 15 round capacity, I would lean towards Glock 19, even used/trade in but if you are limited by budget, I would be OK with G2C.
