The 32/20 inserted easily into the Nagant cylinder, and rotated around to the barrel, but lacked about 1/16 " or so to chamber.
I could disassemble the cylinder assembly, starting with the screw over cylinder rod holder, to remove the rod then the cylinder, but I am really antsy about difficult reassembly !
Or, I could chip off ends of the lead bullet, with some sturdy toenail pliers, but afraid of pieces clogging functioning parts.
What to do ?
Have any of you guys any suggestions, please ? !!! o_O

Thanks .

That happened to me when a bullet jumped the crimp. Simply use wooden dowel to tap bullet further into case until it clears. If you can't manage that safely then take it to a smith.

Can you show a photo of its existing state?

Todd.

What is the composition of the bullet itself?
Is it only lead getting in the way?

I'd slowly carve it off with a good thin knife if I didn't want to disassemble.

Thanks man!
Simple is as simple does.
It's great when calm and meaningful replies helps us get our act together.

Thank you so very much.

Merry Christmas !
It's the meaning of the season !!!

You might get to the point where you want to do something like this. Pivoting the back-sir of the blade on the frame.

I can't quite picture a Nagant and its inherent complexities just now but it might help for the last bits of projectile.

I like to use Swiss Army Knives for this sort of thing for their strength and thinness.

Todd.
