Some things are better left to the experts!

Smith 686-5 Pre-Lock Plus 7 shot. Couldnt resist. Pretty much mint, came with the original box, all papers, manual, original Master trigger lock, original grips, spent case, S & W anti-corrosion paper, two 7 round HKS speedloaders, Safariland holster and a Tex Shoemaker dual mag pouch.
It had the original Smith rubber grips on it, but in the case was this set of Kim Ahrend Cocabolo grips. (no longer mfd., cocobola is now on the endangered list) On they went! I plan to keep it in rotation for CCW.

He was asking 600-, I had the cash in his hand so fast he must have thought I used mirrors.

First time out with it, 9 yards, 148 gr. HWBC's. Not a target shooter by any stretch, but I had a good time! Fun gun to shoot!
The trigger is amazing!

Errrrrrrhhh! Looks like my little buddy is going to need braces. smith 1.jpg smith 2.jpg

Shooting the 700 FPS wadcutters out of that big old smokewagon makes it feel like a cap gun!
I really enjoy shooting this piece, very lucky to have stumbled up on it!

Thanx for the kind comments about the Smith y'all!

Nice buy! And a Merry Christmas too on your wonderful good fortune! I would have been all over that as well, especially at that price! And definitely some bonus points on the Kim Ahrends' grips! Looks like you already had a lot of fun with it at the range!

The trigger on my Model 686 is without a doubt the finest out of the box trigger I have ever come across!
