You Buy Yourself Anything For Christmas?

Not specifically for Christmas, but did pick up a second-hand-but-never-used Vortex Viper HS-T 4-16x44 that arrived Christmas Eve.

While finishing Christmas shopping in the local Runnings, home, farm & outdoor store, came across an assortment of steel targets on sale. Got myself a smaller one rated for 9mm - 44 Mag. handgun.. Listed for $39.99 ....... Ten bucks off made it $29.99. I knew I wouldn't find one under the Christmas tree so I splurged. It'll probably see mostly 22 lr and 9mm and looks like it should hold up well. Haven't even shot at it yet; planning on next week with the step grand daughter. We both enjoy steel targets. As I mentioned in a couple other threads, several things:

And waiting on

As well as a front sight tool (I thought I still had one, but can't find it) and the lowest weaver-mount rear sight I could find, since I do still have a TWS rear cover hanging around.
Also a couple boxes of ammunition and a 5-round magazine (dad keeps saying someone wants to take him hog hunting) off the local shop's clearance rack, and I'm going to hit them up next payday to grab a magazine pouch and fill it.
Miss when you could buy a crate of surplus mags for $40...

Not yet for me either...

Buuut, I am ordering a REM MOD 7 SS in .223 and a Leupold VX3i 2.5-8x36 to go on it once the .223s come back in stock. I've also got to wait on the scope until the Leupold Custom shop opens back up so I can custom order the scope. I figure it will make a great practice gun and walking predator rig.

PC labels for cartridge boxes
Two new PC's containing a sub-human piece of trash called windows 10.
25 cartridge boxes for 7.62 x 39
500 22's ( Rem viper)

I sprung for a 458 SOCOM upper and 250 rounds of brass. I’ve had a stamp for a form 1 45 caliber can for several years and now I have a reason to finally build it.

Yes. Told my wife that it would be a very early "present from her":

A really nice Sig P225 ('87) about seven weeks ago, with box, test target, "Anleitung" booklet, from a regular gun-trading friend.

Not specifically for Christmas, but I've had a good run lately due to a number of factors.

Decided to consolidate my 3" 686 and 6" 686 into a 4". Within 24hrs, sold my 3" for $600 and bought a 4" with a box of 48 specials and 3 speed loaders for $525. The 6" is still for sale.
Barely passed up a local retailer offering eotech 512 at $350... only to buy a used one off armslist for $275.
A surefire procomp for the ar10.
Been squirreling away funds for a quality camera drone lately, and didn't get one for Christmas, so pulled the trigger on a refurb DJI mavic air...

Nice choice, I LOVE mine. Can't seem to get a foldable charging handle though, Ive been trying since april. Weigh down your EP9 with sight, optic and a light, it needs the weight because it's so light. Makes it much better to shoot. I also have a full 32 round mad attached to the side of the brace, with velcro straps. See my avatar for my setup. I tried to convince myself to buy a more expensive 9 pcc, but the only one that shoots better is a Sig MPX. It's more durable due to less polymer, but it's 4 times the cost. Ive shot scorpions, EP9 has far better trigger, and better recoil. I did get the $16 JP spring kit, not sure it did anything.
I love the weight, or lack thereof. We just shipped out an MPX, too heavy for my taste. (This from a guy with a 6" bbl Anaconda on his hip)
Just bought an optic for it, lighted QTP scope with laser attached. Haven't taken it to the range that way yet.

Got a sweet Diamondback AR pistol that takes Glock 9mm sticks and tricked it out with lots of accessories.

Picked up a third Zenith (a cheaper way to get a complete set of spare parts)

Got a Swarovski spotting scope with the binocular eyepiece and a pair of EL series 10X42 binos.

Small potatoes compared to the new truck. I had my biggest ever year and don't wanna be that guy that hoards and never gets out and has fun, but then I'm giving more to charities too.

Lusted over a a Colt 1903, but there was no budging from the $800 price.
Thought long and hard about an RIA .38super, but could not collar the very bsy fellow on the table to dicker on the price.
So, left the FW gun show with a couple of PMags at a decent price.

I bought a Fostech Echo Gen II for myself, and put it in one of my AR carbines.

But then, the other day, I saw that PSA had their M16A2 marked stripped lowers on sale with the Safe/Semi/Burst markings. Hmmm, would be perfect for the Fostech.

So, I ordered one. But, what good is another lower without a build kit, and what good is a completed lower without an upper. The universe will be out of kilter if lowers <> uppers.

So, my purchase of a new trigger will result in another complete AR. It is a good thing that I already have an extra Sig Romeo 5 RDS laying around.

Bought myself a Tier1 P365 appendix holster for Hanukkah.

A new belt, a Blue Alpha Gear Hybrid Cobra, for Kwanzaa.

Nothing for Xmas.

I jest about Hannukah and Kwanzaa. We’re having a Merry Secular Happy Holidays here at the homestead.

Ordered a case of Gold Dots I’ll say is my New Years present to myself.

Got a $300.00 down payment on what gun I buy next from my son. I'm thinking about a Ruger Single 10 shot revolver.
