Favorite Centerfire Handguns

1. Full-Size Revolver
Dan Wesson M15 6" .357 Mag

2. Full-Size Semi-Auto
Dan Wesson Valor .45 ACP

3. Carry Revolver
S&W Model 60 .38 Special +P

4. Carry Semi-Auto
S&W Shield .45 ACP

The specific manufacturers were a coincidence. I don't have any particular brand bias (and don't even consider the two DW to be from the same company).

Uberti Schofield replicas in 45LC

Any of the handful of 1911s that I own but definitely my Kimber in 38 Super

Ruger BH 45LC

Favorite full size revolver:
Single action: Ruger Blackhawk 41 magnum
Double action: S&W K-38

Favorite full size semi: CZ75b 9mm

Favorite carry revolver: S&W Bodyguard 38 special +P

Favorite carry semi: S&W M&P Compact 9mm

Favorite cap and ball: Ruger Old Army

Actually, the single action revolver could have been a Single-Ten, Super Blackhawk 44 mag., or Blackhawks in 32 mag, 357, or 45 Colt/45 acp. I like them all.

To me favourite means accurate.
That's the reason why I love my Pardini GT9-1, SIG-Sauer P226, Norinco TT-Olympia, Weihrauch Target Trophy and last but not least my brand new Grand Power Q100.
The Walther P99 AS is not as accurate as the others but it is my nightstand gun so I still love and trust it enought...

My favorites are EDC M&P Shield 9 ,5906 and 686. Five year old Shield is very dependable and accurate also have M&P 9 FS would sell if needed the others are keepers

Semi auto - g20

I like that some have matched blades to their roscoes.

I have too many of both to have ultimate favorites, but I usually carry a Sig P938, a Benchmade autofolder, and a very small 5.11 fixed blade carried upside down ready for deployment on the sling I carry my phone on.

When it comes to big autos my Les Baers rule, and my bigger blade is a Puma Automesser that I bought in '74. But that is a blade that has seen much use.

When it comes to the favorite blade in my collection then it is Ken McFall's 8" ladder damascus blade with 8 thin spacers and a flat brass pommel custom mated to the elk horn grip in a custom made crocodile leather sheath worth every penny of the $1450 it cost me. I have a more valuable blade, a pamir kris that my dad brought back from Indonesia 50 years ago, but it is not my style.

The McFall bowie would get its first use if I decided to go on safari.

Favorite revolvers would include both Smith 625s, a 610 (10mm), a Mountain Lite .44spl, and my EAA Windicator .357 mag.

Do I notice a slight inclination to the .38 Super and the .41 Mag?
