Thanks for all the answers! Really nice forum..

Have anybody actually have the new moa trigger freeze or get filld with dirt so doesnt work? Seems like a lot of concern with this reading the forums..

But to me it doesnt make sence, same people have no problem with a timney on a mauser 98, which is very similar construction wise.

Older trigger may be more rugged in theory but there's some sort of enclosed trigger on almost every bolt-action rifle these days, including military sniper rifles. Pretty much a non-issue.

Sure it’s a concern. Who doesn’t low crawl with their $1,000 hunting rifle through 1/4 mile long mud pit at least once a week? ;)

I have a 458 WM which I had converted to a 458 Lott. I rebedded the front lug and the rear action as well. The material that the factory uses to bed was about the consistency of a hot glue stick (hardened). It works OK on a 30-06 I have, but I wanted more solid with the Lott. So far, it has withstood 49 full power loads. No stock cracking. It came from the factory (and I maintained with the bedding) the correct clearances around the action screws and floorplate.
