The Röhm RG-14 is a .22 LR six shot revolver formerly manufactured and sold by Röhm Gesellschaft of Sontheim/Brenz, Germany. It is an example of a Saturday night special.
Impact[edit]
An RG-14 was used by John Hinckley Jr. in the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan on March 30, 1981.[1]

Which, oddly, helped bring on an automatic weapons ban......I believe this is the same make and model that John Hinckley used in the failed assassination attempt on then President Ronald Reagan.
but its history your buying with this like a lot of the older sporters rifles u see me buy old school is COOL~$120 will get you a brand new Heritage Rough Rider if you want a 22 revolver, a much better deal than that one.

i like them the chrome ones looks cool a pimp gun and they are like ak 47 22 pistal LOL
Some people collect pistols of the types used (either successfully or not) for assassinations. Hinckley used an RG14 in his attempt on Reagan. For a while I had a good collection of 'assassination pistols'; An IJ Cadet (Sirhan Sirhan), a Colt Cobra, (Oswald was killed by Jack Ruby with one) a 1911 (Squeaky Fromme, attempt on Ford) .41 Percussion Deringer (Booth)i think i see those back in the 1970s he wants 120$ for it what gives with these
but but what about the historic referencing of it?Save your money, Spend it on a better gun. Even an H&R is better.
