Description
Up for sale is my Yugoslavian M76 along with a host of other accessories. This listing comes with everything you see here, including the rifle, Zrak 4x scope, scope cover, rubber eyepiece, bayonet and scabbard if you’re a madlad, 2 refinished magazines, 5 magazines still covered in storage grease, and a hard case.

Also included is a lot of ammo, 330rds of M75 PPU. This is listed as “sniper ammo”, I take that with a grain of salt but it is accurate and late 90’s production so in all likelihood non corrosive. I also have 56rds of Ethiopian surplus, which is definitely not listed as “sniper ammo” and is also most certainly corrosive 50’s production. I have no other 8mm rifles, so I”m including all this ammo to clear it on out.

Overall, a great package and it’s under the exorbitant prices PSL’s are commanding! Text is best, happy to answer any questions and meet locally. Please have a UT state ID or preferably CCW permit. Thanks for looking!

I’ve never seen one. I have heard of the M76 - made by Zastava, sort of a Serbian Dragunov - but can’t say I’ve ever seen one. I can understand why you want it. Because awesome!

It has a sort of Cold War steampunk vibe to it. As a designated marksman rifle, it should be reasonably accurate and 8x57 is a powerful and versatile cartridge.

Hope you get it!!!

Looks like a variant/ knockoff of a Dragunov; those things command stupid prices for reasons I do not understand. Romanian PSLs regularly go for over a grand, so this Yugo doesn't seem too far out of line.

yeah true i would buy a vepr 308 Vyatskie-Polyany-VEPR-308-WIN_101179677_17825_C45529CA6024330D.jpg before i buy that but its odd and never seen it before has some :evil:appeal to me for some reason:uhoh:

You have a Yugo M-76 in 8mm Mauser!!! :what: LOL. Yes, they did make some in 7.92X57. You have one, and it might not function reliably with the weak loaded stuff that passes for 8mm Mauser ammo in this country. That round nose 170 gr bullet doesn't always want to feed, either.

No experience with the M76, but a cool rifle I have heard about and never have seen in real life. I do have experience when the Yugo “Sniper” ammo out of a K98 Mauser though. The brass cased sniper ammo actually was a lot less accurate than the steel cased Romanian 8mm in a 440 round spam can. I wonder if out of spec sniper ammo is what got sold as surplus?

That is a rare rifle in the US anyways, let us know how it shoots if you pick it up.

btw This item has been sold wow that was fast:confused: they paid top dollar for it?

Looked on Gunbroker and there was a couple with those extras selling at 2k & 2k+ . With rifles selling with scopes in the 1300+ range.. I guess it was a deal ...

I saw quite a number of these in the former Yugoslavia. They were exceptionally well built and when new looked amazing - when used, however..... they looked even BETTER!

Were it originally in a caliber that I already had - I'd pop for that rascal in a NY minute if I could also inspect it.

They interestingly DID have a number of .308 versions floating around too.

Todd.
