If the cost of the new Pythons has you down.....

There are some folks out there with, literally, unlimited funds to buy things that we all couldn’t afford as a group combined. 75k on a rare Python? That’s maybe sixty minutes at work for some of these guys.

I used to work for a high end ski boat dealer on the side, we had people who wouldn’t bat an eye driving their 100k 911 Porsche Turbo to the shop and dropping 80k in cash (back then, they’re 125k now) on a brand new boat for their teenaged kids. Off to the stereo shop it would go for a 5k sound system.. then they’re paying the shop a mere $500 bucks for me to tow it out to their party house in Arizona and drop it in the water for them.

Less than two years later they were back, trading it in thrashed and abused for under 20k and buying the kids another 80k+ boat. Same went for cars, motor homes, lavish second houses, etc. Its almost obscene what the big earners can spend money on.

But, it’s their money, so if they earned it legitimately... more power to them. I’d surely spend a LOT more money on different guns if I had it... and I’d shoot them, too :).

Stay safe.

In 2018 Jeff Bezos Net Worth went up roughly 2.75 Million an Hour. If you really wanted it you might consider spending less than 2 minutes of income.

Exactly. That is truly stratospheric income and buying all fifteen of those rare Python revolvers at full retail would be an easy task for someone like that. A schmoe like me? Not even a regular production Python will ever grace my hand at the prices they’re commanding.

The one true reality facing everyone... be they rich, poor or sitting exactly in the middle; we’re only immortal for a limited time. Do your best to enjoy what you have whenever you can, because once it’s gone...it’s gone.

Stay safe.

A 75K gun with $20 grips on it... Interestingly, I looked at their other auctions which included a Colt Viper that I never knew existed, looks a lot like a Model 10, and even had mis-matched bluing. Its a strange world we live in.
