For all those with 7.62x39 AR's.. any accuracy results you could post up ?
Both with less expensive Com-Bloc ammo and better ammo ( Hornady )
Here are two five shot groups at 200 yards using a vortex red dot 2x magnification out of my AR 7.62x39. The first is Tula 122 gn FMJ and the second is WPA 124 gn FMJ. Both steel cased. Here is a 10 shot group with wolf 125 SP with my psa

Another crucial piece is a picture of the groups you shot with it to show your friends what your “junk commie round” can do in a good platform.
I’d just get the PSA or bear creek complete upper you want whenever it goes on sale. I’ve got both, both are great!
If I were doing it all over again, I’d think about the PSA47 or whatever they call the AR configured to take AK mags. Mags are the weakness to the 7.62x39 ARs, you might get 4-5 rounds to feed reliably in a regular pmag if you are lucky. The cproducts mags are much better, but still not full proof.
That is a good groupLike this, 20 rounds 50 yards, ~2 moa:
Sebastain, check out the ASC mags for the 762x39. They run flawless in a ar15 mag well.
Put one together from PSA kit on a PSA lower last night for a Bud. Only issues were me related.
I would really like a "Shell Shrinker" in .32 rimmed and .32 ACP for a "M43" upper. No savings in cost but low power option with out special reloading.

How do the 7.62x39 models that use standard AR lowers compare to models like the PSA KS-47 that take AK-47 magazines? Any reliability or bolt durability differences? Or is it just a matter of deciding whether you prefer to use a stand lower or want to use AK mags.
the psa’s are not chromed lined. Thats a big no for me with the 762x29 round.
Someguy. I happen to have a huge pile of that ammo i am slowly burning up. So it was a requirement for me. But i got my windham before i knew about the psa’s. For the price of them. Could get it just to burn the barrel up and have fun doing it.
