Sounds like they need to petition for his removal, he obviously does not represent the will of the people.

Now a state of emergency will be called for every little thing, a new way to disarm law abiding citizens. We have to educate our friends and family and get them to vote. No matter where you are dictators are coming for your state. Robert Francis Orourke was too stupid to get it done but Adolph Bloomberg is trying to turn Texas, and unfortunately he's not stupid. His TV adds here in Texas are overwhelming, unrelenting and disgusting. Mindless people are soaking it up.

We have to educate people what freedom actually is because dictators will take it away with a well spoken voice and smile.

Some are saying that is exactly what the Democrats/socialists want to happen. Their resistance methods are to ultimately seed anarchy. The propaganda media would love it.

The removal of guns from Capitol Square is actually a good thing for the pro-gun side. There should never have been a suggestion to bring guns to this event in the first place. A single incident of violence is the one thing that would derail all the progress we've been making in defeating these antigun bills. By leaving our guns at home we remove the possibility of violence, and deny the antigunners their excuse for a crackdown. Let's be smart about this: a large, peaceful demonstration is what's needed.

If there were so much as a single gunshot at this rally, the media would be all over it for weeks, painting gun owners as violent, uncontrollable cavemen, reinforcing the stereotype they want. Large, loud and peaceful is what's called for.

While I truly hope this is a peaceful, effective demonstration, can you explain why the vast majority of mass shootings happen in places where guns are banned, such as this? If paper was all that was needed to prevent crime, why are prisons full?

Are the police going to search everyone at the event like at the airport? Otherwise, just a proclamation to ban guns is silly.
