Disclaimer: As usual my lack of visual acuity, shakiness and plain lack of skill has as much to do with the mediocre groups as the pistol. The combat sight picture and thickness of front sight and wide rear gap likely contribute somewhat as well.

15 yard Offhand Slow Fire - First 5 Rounds fired out of this pistol - 2.4"

Canik TP9SF One Series 9x19
Federal Black Pack 115 FMJ

Doesn't seem bad for a $250-300 pistol.

PS Have been meaning to post this for a while and keep forgetting. Overall I think the Pistol is well worth the money.

I just recently got the same gun. I love the sights. With the black rear sight and the large dot front sight it's easy to see. Also the gun shoots to point of aim. Shot an action pistol match with it yesterday and did real well with it. It's a keeper.

That's actually why I bought mine. Actually getting to the point I think I wouldn't embarrass myself to badly if I start entering some of the local Club Comps...

I bought a cz p07, but I keep thinking I should have picked up a variety of tp9. they're really sweet. Great triggers. Especially the salient trigger in the executive model. (I don't actually like the shape of the trigger, but the pull and reset are amazing for a striker gun)

I've got an SFX with a FS trigger and a spring kit. I have a Venom on it. At 15 yards, if I can do my part it's almost a one hole pistol. I've shot it over sandbags at 20 yards and kept 20 rounds inside a 3" circle. Considering I'm running a 6 moa red dot that's the best that can be expected.

I also have a SF ONE. Completely stock except for the front sight. I switched to a fiber optic front sight. It shoots like a laser.

I've got the TP9SF Elite and really love it. I will be shooting it in an indoor match this week. Nice shooting.

Did you get the "One Series" that only comes with one magazine making it cheaper in price ?

Yes, I paid $265.99 for one in Dark Earth.

OEM 18-Round Mags are around $25 and +2 Baseplate models $30.
I don't think Mecgar sells the mags. Likely have an exclusive deal with the OEM.
Promag 18 are around $15 (Try at own risk).

Taylor Freelance +4 Basepad is extremely high quality but expensive at $30.

Thanks for that information. I want one very bad. I have a small quirk when it comes to guns. I want to be able to detail strip them completely ( take them apart completely). But it seems that the slide LOCK is very hard to get off. It has a roll pin in it and all videos I see show the person tearing up part of the slide LOCK and polymer frame just to get out the roll pin. I may just suck it up and get one anyways.

You don't tear up the slide lock or the frame.

If you do it right you'll have a small indentation in the frame.

Don't lose that little pin. It's an odd size. A .060 roll pin. A 1/16" roll pin is .0625 and won't fit.

Putting a "small indentation" in the frame IS tearing up the frame in my opinion . I'm going to skip the Canik for now.

I have nothing but praise for my Canik. Excellent quality for a very reasonable price.

Good shooting, good deal, good gun... what's not to like? Enjoy.

I'd be happy with that as a first shots 15 yard group myself!

Good shooting, glad you like the new Canik, the one I shoot was a good shooter.

It's half the diameter of a 1/16" punch. I could do more damage with a cartridge rim.

^ This. Mine is so minor it is about maybe one quarter the diameter of a 1/16" punch. You wouldn't even see it without me telling you. My frames have more wear from shooting matches.

While I can probably shoot my TP9v2 better than almost any gun I own, it's not my favorite, or even close to it. It has been 100% reliable and I think it was only like $260, but it's one of the guns I wouldn't replace if I had to sell it, etc. Of all the cheap polymer guns I own, only one makes it to my favorite's list, and that's the SAR Combat Master (CM9 G2) 9 Gen 2. A great gun at a junk gun price. Mine was $250 shipped a couple of Chistmas' ago. It's my "house gun" with a laser/light on it, and it's almost impossible to miss with. Very nice shooter, and a crazy bargain.
