I know of 3 court cases against Ca. that are still pending in court. Ammo, Magazine Capacity, and Assault Weapons.

Does anyone have any information on the status of these cases In the courts, including which courts as well as any URL’s to these cases?

Moderators this would be a good post to Pin....So people can follow the status of these important cases.

No need. If you go to the site of the California Rifle and Pistol association you can track ongoing legislation and litigation.

Not everyone knows that, I didn’t, it also never pulled up when I tried to search for any of these cases. I have never even heard of that organization until you mentioned it.

You search for gun related cases where the antis are definitely loosing, don't be surprised if Google has trouble finding it.

Of course!

There has been some new updates to the AW ban case in california recently as well.

It is my understanding that [St.] Benitez will proceed with hearing the AW case on the 4th, I think.

I have a lot of friends keeping me informed. I'll see if I can dig up sources.

you were close! I just checked. February 6th is the hearing.

Its actually to rule on the injunction in our favor and then a date set to consider summary judgment in our favor.

Thanks, man.

I appreciate you keeping an eye on CA with/for us!

I encourage you to post whatever you find out!

I am keeping a close eye on all the court cases that have anything to do with fighting gun laws. Its our only and last recourse short of revolting that we have to save our 2nd ammendment.

I hold out hope for now since its the one place in Government we now have a true stronghold for at least a little while.

Fight the good fight.

Thanks again

Michael and Associates just posted an update on Duncan V. Becerra regarding the 10 round magazine limit.

Oral arguments for the appeal before the Ninth Circuit are scheduled for April 2, 2020.

This is the case where the district court judge gave summary judgement to the defendants, opening a three week window that allowed Californians to stock up on full capacity magazines, until a stay of the order was issued pending appeal by the State.

That’s awesome. A lot faster then I thought would happen! Let’s hope that the 9th Circuit upholds the Summary judgment, and then removes the stay.

Of Course Becerra will appeal to SCOTUS.

While in one respect it would be nice for it to stop right there, it would only help those that are in the 9th circuit. If SCOTUS hears it and continues uphold it as unconstitutional. Then it’s impact would be nationwide.

This case though could still end early, if SCOTUS hears and rules in our favor on the Worman v Healy case. Nice thing about this case is it handles both the AWB as well as Magazine Cap ban.
