Anyone have any old gun Receipts

I have a 1970 receipt for aluminum S&W Airweight .38 shrouded hammer, $96. Zirmo's in Manahattan I think. I don't have it in front of me.

My Dad bought me a Remington 1100 Skeet Grade 12 ga with a skeet barrel and a spare Modified choke barrel for $219 in 1980. I saw the receipt just a few days ago (we just moved residences).

I've kept all of them, or some sort of "bill of sale" if it wasn't store bought.

A lot have faded to the point of being almost illegible that were printed on thermal roll receipt paper.

Somewhere in my junk is the receipt for five British Lee Enfield rifles, including a jungle carbine: Cost was $100. The slip is dated 1956.

The oldest one I have is from 1/11/68 for a "new" 1967 Colt Trooper.

Got the receipt for my Dad's Colt .38 super from a hardware store for $69 in 1949. That was a very expensive gun.

I keep all the bills of sale on my papered firearms to prove ownership. On FTF locally they are not done by either party. We just show a drivers license to prove we are legally able to purchase.

Here's one I'm going to sell today, just trying to refine my collection, this is just one I don't have any real strong attachment to.

I've always liked those older gen Rugers, but always seem to only keep the 45 variants.

My first Contender purchase included a Leupold 2X EER scope, Buehler mount and RCBS die sets.
