What are 3 pythons made in 61, 63, and 67 worth?

They are worth about $800 each, but someone will pay upwards of $2,500 each because of the Pony stamp. I owned one Python 20 some years ago, I accept every manufacturer makes an occasional lemon, but why did it cost me $200 additionally to fix Colt's mistakes when the factory wouldn't, but a repair center would? The problem was a cross-threaded barrel. Lots of experts for 1911 semi autos, very few for a Python, apparently including the factory now.

"Lost their minds"?

Nope.

If I had the money, I would have bought a few of these and made a serious attempt to resell at a significant profit myself.

I'm not saying I would buy up all that I could find...but a small number, certainly.

If people want to pay me the higher prices for them, great. If not...I'll have some Colt Pythons of my own that I can do with as I wish.

Because they're beautiful guns!
