I saw one of these at the range today, and I gotta say, this may be the best idea for a stabilization device that I've ever seen. Its the Fab Defense Podium. I initially was confused, and didn't know how I could like it, as I have 3 traditional bipods. The guy let me test it on his weighted down, front heavy DD quad rail with a light, 2 hand grips, etc. . I tried pressing down on the end of his barrel, and this wouldn't tip forward unless I put several pounds of pressure on it, it's pretty stable with a front-heavy gun. It comes with the grip (Very nice if you have long fingers, extremely ergo as well), which locks into the podium frame. It can be used with an existing trigger guard, and connects again on the magwell. It is polymer, so it weighs almost nothing compared to my nice UTG or Magpul aluminum bipods. The legs also pop out with one switch, like a switchade. It's about the same price as a magpul. I saw a post somewhere called it "Gimmicky ****", but after using it, I can't find any reason to not REALLY like it.

The only downside I could see is shooting off a surface which is sloped to one side, but not sure how much that would happen.
