So, What's On Your "Gotta have" Wish List?

There's one that has really caught my eye, been looking for a good deal on but haven't been able to snag one yet, it's the performance center 629 with 8 3/8" fluted barrel with the orange glow blade front sight . Maybe it's in the cards this year..........

I want a Ruger Blackhawk 5.5” in .45 Colt with the .45acp conversion cylinder.

I’d also like an old S&W I-frame in .32 long. This one’s been on my list for awhile.

And a Ruger Wrangler or Single Six would be fun too. Of late I’ve been craving single actions for some reason.

I also have a list for guns I want. It is ever changing, but in regards to revolvers I have a S&W 327 Night Guard. I like it so much that I decided that I wanted a S&W 327 TRR8, but then I saw the M&P R8 so I decided that when I have the money together I will decide at that time which one I want....And then one day I saw the 627 Pro at a gun store and that just threw a wrench in my monkey works...I like that one too.

So I will buy one of those 3 when I scrape the money together. :D

Dang I wasnt even aware of the rossi 988, sweet looking gun! Its like a raging bull but in .357?
Essentially kinda. The slab sided barrel is a much more precisely fit piece and the lock work is supposedly superb (almost to the point of python type wonderful) the heavy barre brings balance forward which is what some shooters (particularly game guys) like. The 986 is the same gun but with 6” slab barrel rather than 8”. The 6” is a bit more common but is similarly priced to the 8”. It’s not really a raging gun because the frame is still similarly sized to the K/L frame S&W whereas the raging series frames are more in line with the N frame S&W, so the Cyclops guns are more akin to the Taurus 66/689 or Rossi 741/742 or S&W 586/686. I believe that the gun that is currently on Gunbroker has popped up a couple times in recent years and migrates from one collector to another. If I ever get my grubby hands on one my goal is to wear it out, rebuild it, and wear it out again, then rebuild it and leave it to my kids.

I've been very fortunate in my S&W revolver collecting/amassing,,,
I've already purchased all of the specific guns I wanted,,,
With the exception of a S&W Model 45 .22 LR.

I have "The Harem"
Models 629, 686, 66, & 63,,,
Jezebel, Bridget, Morgana, and Lilith

I have my "Pretty Girls"

Dakota & Ella.

I do own a few other very nice S&W revolvers,,,
But really, these four matched sets filled my S&W Bucket List very nicely.

Unless I run across that elusive Model 45 at a garage sale,,,
If I ever do find one that I can afford,,,
I'll pair it with my Model 12,,,
Eleanor.

I want a Big Horn Armory 89! But more to the OP, I'm still pining for a BFR in .480 Ruger. I had the chance recently, but went another way. I'm also drawn to the BFR in 30-30, but I have no idea why. Just looks cool and seems like it could be fun.

Also, one of these days I'll have a Uberti Schofield in 45 Colt with a 5.5" barrel.

Please guys allow me to add a Winchester pump action in 22cal. AKA gallery rifle (yeap I am that old).

A very nice lightly used 19-3 I saw at the LGS when I was transferring a different revolver and low on cash. Trying to resist but it ain't easy. Estate gun.

I would like to shoot one before I buy one. They feel and look great they have to shoot!!!

Ruger Redhawk in .45 Colt
1875 "Outlaw", nickel plated, prefer .45 Colt, but will consider other calibers
Schofield replica, caliber choice same as above
Vintage Colt Detective Special
Vintage S&W 29, 25-5, and/or 629 with 4-inch barrels

I agree.I would love to shoot one. I have the 2.5” barrel 327NG. It shoots great but I would prefer to shoot the others that I listed just to be sure I like one of them more than the other 2.

Unfortunately I haven’t found a range near me that has any of them for rent. I may just have to go by the feel of them and my experience with the gun I already have.

It’s not a revolver, if I mentioned all the non-revolver guns I want it would be a mile long.

That said, allow me to add that I have a Winchester 1906 gallery pump and man, what a sweet little rifle she is! Great taste in firearms you have, sir.

I’m on the verge. My boat is spoken for but I haven’t yet been paid. There is a Rossi Cyclops 988 on Gunbroker. It’s overpriced, but they are rare and are awesome. If I don’t buy it I will buy another Rossi .357 and make it as good as I can. Problem is I want the long barrel and most Rossi have short tubes.
Check out what I found on GunBroker.com!
