Anything I can do to change the grip texture of a glock?

The Glock 48 is wonderful. I don’t like the full size glocks. My hands are too small. My advise would be NOT to buy because of mag capacity. Get what you shoot well and then shoot it a lot.

honestly, I think that the 1911 ruined me. Everyone I talk to about 1911’s alway default to the same point. The trigger. Yeah, they can have nice triggers.

fact is though, either you can shoot or you haven’t practiced enough. I love my 1911, but don’t shoot it any better than any of my other handguns.

BTW, I scored two of the shield arms 15 round mags for the 48 today. If it wasn’t for the 48, I’d still be packing a Kahr.

Oh and if I didn’t mention it, traction grips. No matter what anyone says, it ain’t just skateboard tape.

I've never been the level of shooter where a trigger absolutely doesn't matter. When I was younger and my eyes allowed the level of acuity necessary I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt I could hit a lemon at 100 yards with my DW 15-2 a lot easier with the crisp single-action mode than the long heavy (although smooth) double-action mode.

Forget the friction tape. I found a picture with the Talon grip on a G26 and that looked like the way to go if you don't like the factory texture.

Man, I can't even see a lemon at 100 yards.

My first Steel Challenge and USPSA rig was based on a Glock .40 longslide. I think it was the G24. They have so many numbers I can't remember em all. I was on a real budget. Back then you couldn't make major power factor with a 9X19. When that Glock gave up the ghost at over 80,000 rounds of hot 135gr loads, I decided it was time for a "real" gun. I got me a wide body 1911 rig in .38 super, but by that time what drew me to the 1911, the trigger, didn't matter that much. I didn't go any faster and wasn't scoring much better either. I guess it's a matter of what you teach yourself to get used to.

BTW, I can't shoot a revolver to save my life. I shot a self defense course with my SP101 once, and I would have been lucky to hit the ground if I dropped my gun.
