Towards the end of the year, I'm thinking about purchasing a PSA AK103 clone.

However, I have no experience with PSA. Does anyone have any direct experience with them that they'd like to share?

Thanks.

I have ordered a few uppers and some other assortments from them. I have never done a ffl transfer with them.
They have always been good on their shipments. And their quality is good.
Some time back, I ordered a couple lower build kits they had on sale. I couldn't find a few of the details, so I emailed them about the "shortage". The next day I contacted them to let them know of me finding the the details. They had already shipped what I thought were missing, no questions asked. I felt pretty silly about the whole thing.

I have never bought anything AK related from them but all the AR stuff has been good. I ordered a PA10 lower and it arrived quickly at my local shop for pickup. The FFL transfer went smoothly. Out of all the stuff I have bought from them over the years, I have only had to deal with customer service for one item, no problems there either.

Thanks for the responses.

The choice is between PSA and Kalashnikov USA, who are coming out with an AK103 clone, but haven't released it yet, and won't release the side folder version (the one I want) until some time after they release the fixed stock version.

I feel more confident about PSA now, even though they seem to get pretty good reviews.

About 3 years ago, one of my customers was looking for an AK and bought the PSA. It ran great until the extractor broke at around 100 rounds. He is working with PSA to get a replacement.

I picked up one of the PSA kits about the same time but have yet to finish it.

Video on the latest offering from PSA. The title does not actually reflect the author's thoughts.

I love his videos. Even though I have experience with full auto Kalashnikovs, this will be my first semi-auto gun. I still learned a lot from his basic videos.

I have the GF3 and haven't had any major issues with it. Only issue I have is how far I had to drift the front sight to get on target, it isn't quite maxed out on windage, but close. Other than that it has fed reliably from a variety of mags and loads.

Did you check the alignment of the front sight?

I was really thinking of getting one of their AK-P pistols, but never did. I might come back to that. If they do a 5.45 pistol, I will be all over that.

I heard Zastava USA will be coming out with their own AK's. I do not know if they will have the same models. I have an N-PAP that is a few years old. It works great.

No direct experience with PSA. Mine have all been Arsenal Bulgarian rifles, or Russian, or Romanian.

I am no AK connoisseur or aficionado, but I did buy a PSA GB2 AK when they were closing them out prior to introducing the GF3. I have been very happy with it, and to my untrained eyes it appears to be holding up well with no problems. I'm probably not going to shoot 10,000 rounds through it, but I have probably shot more than 750 to date, with another 1,500 rounds on hand.

In fact, I have been very happy with all of my purchases from PSA, and their lifetime warranty is also a real plus.

Im a fan of the 7.62x39 round ,,, and SKS’s
Never warmed up to the AK variants .. but they look cool ... !

Picked it up this afternoon, brought it home and put a quick two mags through it. Actually much more pleasant to shoot than what I remember of the one I shot 20yrs ago. The trigger is actually pretty good. Maybe even better than many out of the box AR triggers. Once it cooled off, I installed the Magpul MVG, VTAC sling and a Midwest side mount with a Vortex Strikefire I had laying around. Once I consulted a couple YouTube videos, it was easy to strip and put back together. Not sure about the bulky side mount but I think I'm gonna like it. :D

I have a PSAK-47 GF3.
So far, at 1000 rounds with no stoppages or malfunctions.
Fit & finish is better than what's on the Romarms WASR and Zastava N-PAP.
I wished that I held off getting it and may sell it, so I could get the PSA AK-E, which has a FN made CHF chrome lined barrel.
