What is the ugliest gun you own?

View attachment 890988 View attachment 890989 I think I just bought it last night... I did get a ugly crickett on Gunbroker for $22 so there’s that... but of the ones I have actually laid eyes on so far, it has to be my ugly duckling S&W model 10-6 with approximately 2% of the bluing left and in various shades of “hammer face gray” but very little if any rust. I will find the pics where I bought it... here’s one of them...and the crickett.
Wow! does it come with that sling? Sweet

The ugliest by far: HiPoint carbine in 45acp in some alleged "desert" camo.

Honorable mention: T/C Dimension. Not a looker. But incredibly underappreciated and underestimated. It's a pity they didn't sell better because, especially for the money, a very good rifle.

Finally settled on one... for now, anyhow.

Ironically, it is built upon one of the 2-3 prettiest receivers that I currently own; a superior VZ 24.

But that wood and hardware!!!! Hid-E-ose!

Even this, would have been a distant second to a recently sold 4595 TS Hi Point carbine. Good gun but uglier than a truck-load of smashed... well, most anything smashed!

I’ve got a 16 gauge single shot that spent about 10 years under the seat of a ‘57 Chevy farm truck. It was so rusted I had to soak it a couple days to get it open. Cleaned off the rust with steel wool. Shot a lot of rabbits with it many years back

I don't own it anymore,,,
But in my not-so-humble opinion,,,
It definitely was the ugliest rifle ever made.

British SMLE in .303,,,
Dang thing looked like Winston Churchill's face.

I don't even know what to say. I didn't notice it at first, looking at the rifle down below it. Then looked above and my jaw dropped. Looks like a home depot block of wood on that thing. Wow! That's awesome. That's how they come stock? What's the story of that thing?!

Who built that thing? More importantly, who was it built for? Paul Bunyan?

*Bench Rest* rifle competition.

Do a search to see some of that lunacy in the past. The gun had an inch-pounds torque wrench to adjust the padded barrel hold-downs through firing and I guess weather changes. These guys used to take little portable weather stations out with them.

All in all this is exceptionally well built but Bench Rest always left me cold and one day it will merely be a very heavy barreled 30 inch .22/250 on a gorgeous VZ receiver.

This probably one of ugliest and least favorite to shoot. It was thrown together using all spare parts I had. I assembled it so I could consolidate left over parts or parts I changed out that I didn't like from other projects. It is however CA friendly and yes I know the front sight is on backwards. My son had a AR that I reconfigured that was all anodized red. Leftover parts gun needed a muzzle brake so it got the old leftover red one in the spare parts bin.

It kinda reminds me of a Cross between an AR and a mini 14. The side charging upper was a waste of time and money I wish I never bought.

Why did you not like the side charger

The AMD-65, by TGI (has a repaired muzzle spot weld-Quite common with these).

It seems more like a cool, wicked ugly than just ugly. Pardon my lack of ability to upload photos.

I have long since un-bubba'ed this Kar98k which featured a duffle-cut, plugged, shaved-down stock with the toe cut off and reversed.

A crummy chromed Ruby .32 ACP semiautomatic pistol. I picked it up for some unbelievably low cost at a gun show in the 1980's.
