yep I love period correctness but you gotta agree the 44 not being period correct but at lest it has gotten people into this fun hobby!This is the better deal.
I guess but what bothers me is Pietta could make a configuration that is more authentic for the same money and push them instead but they charge you more if you want a more authentic brass frame. Example the G&G model is quite a bit more money or they could just offer them in 36 caliber also instead of the non authentic 44 caliber brass frame.
