One of the first time I've heard of a suppressor being used. This doesn't help our cause to pass the Hearing Protection Act. Tragic for those involved.

Since I heard plenty of news reports about people hearing shots fired, I am not too sure that the suppressor was a factor.

Funny how so many mass shootings these days are being perpetrated using firearms or accessories that the left has targeted. ARs, bump stocks, silencers. Waiting for the next mass shooting involving reloaded ammo so the left can go after reloaders.

Might be folks are targeting weapons used in mass shootings rather than the other way around.

In any case, this is a horrible event. Did many a tour through the Miller facility back in my school days. Very sad indeed

If he really used a suppressor that sucks because I want one and I can't afford to buy all the stuff they're making illegal to get grandfathered in, I'm gonna be rolling debt trying to buy pre-ban items.

The initial reports on these events are notoriously inaccurate about 6 times out of 10. I wouldn't go into panic mode yet.

Next it will have been a " gun capable of taking 20 or 30 clips" and have had "a shoulder thing that goes up".

As Sistema rightly notes, initial reports, especially in the Daily Mail, should be regarded with skepticism.
