Wondering if there's a replacement grip for the PPK: Something that absorbs recoil... perhaps made of rubber, or if not, is notably wider than the stock grips, to spread the load more.

Is it a PPK or PPK/s ? I think Eagle Grips, as well as Altamont makes aftermarket grips for both of em. Hogue may as well, as well as one or two custom makers. By the by, is this an older PPK, or a new production Walther USA PPK ?

I went looking for a grip sleeve, but couldn't find one for that pistsol, which I find fairly odd. The cheapest alternative might be a small section of bicycle inner tube. I haven't ever used this, but I've seen it mentioned countless times.

I use Hogue “wood” grips on my 1960s vintage PPK. They are slightly larger than the factory plastic grips and feel much better when shooting.

That makes sense to me. I hate to see a PPK messed up with "Goodyears" and/or a bunch of grip tape.
(The gun I used the tape on was quite utilitarian.)

The wood Nill grips are liked by several on the Walther forum, they look rounder on the edges and thicker than the oem plastic.
