America's Firearm and Ammo Supply Chain Safe?

My area got hit pretty hard with blue tongue. I haven't seen a deer on my 14-mile drive to work for months, when it used to be daily.

If people go to the fields for meat, it won't be deer they'll take....it'll be hogs and cattle. Easier to find, shoot, and more meat for the freezer.

This might have a large impact on firearms supply chain. There simply has to be enough disposable income within households to buy ammo and guns. Even hunting takes a fair amount of expenditures. Be it time off work, permits, or the fancy camo. I imagine most will do everything they can to keep their kids fed, mortgage & auto loan current, etc.

Only a few are in a position to either survive fine or become very much more wealthy from such a downturn. Most only have hope for survival and little else from this.

SGAmmo has, having just now ---only checked--- 9mm Luger, .223/5.56 and 7.62x39, many, many selections are available, and being far more familiar with 7.62x39, normal prices.

I saw Nothing about anything "sold out".
Again, for those types who hyperventilate while attempting to read in a frenzy, Nothing seemed to state "sold out" on the main pages.

I never buy specialty types of 9mm Luger, so no idea whether those prices have gone up. But at least it's available. A good sign, is it not?

True. Yesterday my wife hit three stores before finding two packages of chicken. She left one for someone else who needed it.
