And just like that, .223 brass is now scarce

Even under a major threat of an AR ban early 2013 that brass was around to be had. Harder to get, but around. Patience.
The issue will be primers and ball powders if anything.

I'm still seeing range brass for sale on several of the sites that I hang out on, and for fair prices. Powder Valley still had new brass listed the last time I browsed their site.

In the next three weeks you will need food more than brass.

This statement holds true no matter what day it is said on.

Regardless, if you need some I will not make light of it.
I have this because I use Starline. It is worth it.
If you’d like I’ll give you some. It is dirty, used, probably extensively, is of mixed head stamp, some corroded beyond legibility, some may actually be only fired once and so must be swaged.

I was saving them for a rainy day.

I don’t see any clouds yet...

My ranges are closed . I have a bunch of ammo loaded up for ever caliber I have. Just waiting to go shooting again.

Shocka, I know. The go-to round for America's rifle is now in short supply. Who'da thunk it.
No-o-o-o-o-o! I just checked downstairs and I still have about 10k cases ready for loading and about an equal number ready to be unloaded ...

... wait ... you're talking about Out There, aren'tcha?

In the words of Emily Litella, "Never mind."

:D

You only need a straw and the 40 cases of TP to take out anything. (spitball joke)

I went to my favorite gun shop and also my favorite indoor range/gun shop today. The range floor was littered with 223 brass. I swept at least 100 cases down range. The LGS had at least 200 pcs of new Starline in stock. However, there wasn't a 556/223 firearm anywhere in sight.

Good thing I saved all this .223/5.56 brass during the last banic/Obamascare I and II.... oh wait, I still hate reloading .223 and I guess I’ll just end up making and collecting more empty brass. Maybe I can trade a handful of dirty mixed headstamp range brass for a case of terlet paper in a couple weeks
