Weekend at the LGS

Yes, from my personal experience here in MA (for what that's worth) everything is selling out. The stores I went in only had, at best, a few bolt action rifles left. Very little ammo.

Actually went into my local Bi-Mart today, still several black plastic pistols (SA Hellcats not selling?) on the shelves, looks like the 1911s were sold (Kimbers and RIA).

But tons of .22 LR ammo. Bought a couple boxes of Mini-Mags that I don't need, just because. No .45 ACP or 9MM. Perhaps it's time to get back into .40 S&W? Or .380?

My neighborhood LGS has been making a killing the last couple weeks. I'll drop in next couple of days and see if they have anything left. They sell a butt-ton of Glocks, SIGs, S&Ws, Caniks, Bersas and the like.

Gonna be an interesting ride ...

Pictures 1-3 are our handgun showcases on Close of Business Thursday, pics 4-7 are Close of Business Saturday. Note: picture 6 seems fairly full only because the the guns in the case in picture 4 were moved into the last case.

Wow....compared to us you look fully stocked!!!

You are in a lot better shape than the local Sams Club. I think all of their food and paper products would have only filled one semi trailer. Around here there seem to be a lot of long arms in general but common caliber pistols are about wiped out. If you wanted a Desert Eagle or a BFR then you would be OK. Ammo was quite sparce in a couple LGS that have a large ammo area. Nothing rimfire in stock again! I swear we are our own worse enemies when someone panics.o_O

Glad to see you have some revolvers. That's more revolvers than a lot of shops carry when things are normal.

I'm old school and so I think there's a place in the world for wheelguns.
Pick it up, pull the trigger, bang. need to temporarily secure it from unauthorized fiddling? Put a padlock shackle behind the trigger, no bang.

Everything is selling out.
Except that damn pin fire double barrel pistol that was in inventory when we bought this store.

That'll be here after I retire. Hope the boss's grandkids can sell it.
There was a guy at my LGS two weeks ago asking about the value of one of those he brought in.

I think pinfires are cool, but need to be priced very reasonably since you can’t shoot them anymore.

This. I had a few things on consignment in 40 that sat for the last 2 months. They all sold. I put a few more things in and they were gone in an hour.
That's pretty impressive. I sold some guns to my LGS three weeks ago. I bet they've already moved them on down the road, and probably for a little more than they expected.

Glad to support them.

Our lgs are still stoked, I think. the gov ordered all sporting goods stores closed as non essential.

Hey Swamprat, if I'm ever in FL we'll have to get together. I have 8 rounds of 9mm pinfire made by Eley.

Stole the pic of the bullets just to be able to show people what I've been telling them about pinfires.
This gun I wouldn't want to be around if someone fired it. It's more rickety than the steps up to our old bungalow on the Jersey shore.

A major true panic it's not.

My WW2 Mauser Hsc (.32 Auto) has been on consignment for about a year and a half. No offers, and has a small wood chip missing from a handgrip's rear corner..
Two other Hsc s are next to it.

Something as small and cool-looking as these (with market prices) might only sell--in this specific suburban store--during a True panic.

Most of their recent modern handguns either have not sold, or have been replaced.
