My question is; have any of you recycled (re melted and recast) powder coated bullets, and if so, were there any issues ie, harmful fumes, does it just burn off, does it cause any issues, etc? Thanks for your time!

Burning powder coat stinks. I throw my rejects back into the cast iron pot when smelting outdoors.

I've thrown a couple back into my Lee casting pot inside the garage and its not pleasant. It's not any worse than melting down dirty wheel weights and there really aren't any special precautions, but I wouldn't make a habit of doing it in my garage.

It's basically plastic, and doesn't smell much worse than the lube and dirt on any burm scrap. As always, melt in a well ventilated area.

BTW, if you want stank, toss in some clay pigeon fragments. . . the billowing yellow smoke looks like a witch's cauldron in a Disney movie.

Thanks for the feedback, as I'm looking at building a trap and, start coating vice lubing!
