The title says it all, what do you find to be the best T-shirts for concealed carry?

I've got a long torso, so most T-****s and Polos are too short and expose my belly after a few washes. I've got some random longer concert/dive bar T's that I usually use - but the brand names are washed out.

I am sure someone else has had this issue, so what do you use?

If you have a recommendation for longer Polos/ fishing shirts / short sleeve button ups, I'm all ears too.

I know there are a lot of folks that simply wear a t-shirt can carry concealed, but that wouldn't be my choice.

I'd choose a button up shirt over a t-shirt.

The Wilderness Tactical has their Sonoran shirts - currently out of stock - that are a little longer than normal https://www.thewilderness.com/sonoran-shirts/

I'm a short guy, but these LL Bean shirts are pretty long on me, but they also offer them in tall https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/925...=12-26-589-506874&feat=506874-GN3&csp=f&pos=1

When these what to wear for concealed carry questions come up, I almost always think back to "Two and a Half Men" and Charlie Sheen as Charlie Harper wearing cargo shorts and a bowling shirt in almost every episode. It looks like a perfectly natural, and comfortable look, and would conceal just about anything. Now that I mention it, I notice they even have a website to sell those shirts.

Heck, any bowling, fishing, or Hawaiian shirt would be better than just a t-shirt.

Edit to add: Since you're Sebastian the Ibis, and you're from the Gunshine State, I'll suspect you have a Miami connection. My guess is you can't swing a stick in Miami without hitting somebody wearing a guayabera shirt. Those should fit right in.

Both the Carhartt and Duluth (x)XLTshirts are long enough, but I agree with JTQ. I do occasionally CCW under just a T-shirt when mowing the lawn, but I prefer button up shirts with patterns. In my case, 2XLT is the minimum, I prefer 3XLT, or 4 XL or XLT.

There are several places - both online and with brick and mortar stores where you can order a "tall" version of T-shirts that are longer. Personally, I am wearing something like that, I do not want a one color shirt, but one with prints or patterns to help hide the weapon

Guayaberas are great. However, In Miami -- as they are in Cuba -- they are akin to formal wear. You wouldn't be caught dead in Miami in a guayabera with shorts, jeans or tactical pants. If you did you would immediately be flagged as a gringo tourist, or an out of town federal agent trying to look like a local. Ramon Puig (ramonpuig.com) has made a lot of money off of me, and I enjoy wearing Guayaberas out to dinner. However, a guayuabera and dress pants, is a bit much for weekend chores or even a trip to the supermarket or hardware store.

I generally prefer collared shirts when concealed carrying (in normal times). However for the next couple of months, I need some better t-shirts while puttering in the yard, walking the dog, riding a bike, etc.

Carhart and Dicky's pocket T's and button up work shirts work for me, but I'm pretty short.

I’ve had good luck with a few different Redhead button up shirts over a t shirt or long underwear shirt. I get a size up and they cover high ride OWB holster even when lifting my arms up high.

Carhartt and Dickies pocket trees are my go to for t-shirts. 2XL Tall would fit me, but I wear 3X Tall for the extra space both for comfort and if I wanted to carry, thought I typically don't carry IWB when wearing just a t-shirt.

For IWB carry, I typically wear button up shirts or on occasion a hoodie, both of which help with concealment. I've bought most of my button-ups at farm stores like Farm & Fleet or Rural King, very affordable and they last a long time. I've also bought some at JCPenny and Kohls when I've gotten them on clearance, as I won't pay their regular prices for them. Wherever you go, look for "Tall" shirts.

I'm 6'5", don't have an abnormally long torso but, well, being that height I do require tall shirts for them to fit remotely normally. Like with tees, I do go up a size on button ups in addition to getting "tall", mainly for comfort but again it does help with concealment.

I wear a Lands End T-shirt most of the year and carry a compact size semi-auto in an IWB holster. During hot, humid summer days, I add a Hanes X-Temp tank under the Lands End T to wick away perspiration.

Guess im one of those lucky/unlucky ones. I typically just can wear a plain black t-shirt from champs or footlocker in 2xl its not super loose nor form fitted and conceal no problem. I actually have a harder time when wearing button down shirts for like date night or events, even when they are the short sleeve untucked type.

Carhartt tall for 16.99 at local farm store. I always hang on line and so not dry in dryer to reduce shrinkage.

One size bigger helps, but what REALLY helps with a T or a polo shirt is some sort of patterned fabric. Patterns help break up the outline of a gun butt if it should happen to print. The more random the pattern the better.

That's a big part of my preference for button ups, it's amazing how much a pattern helps.

Carhartt's tall tshirt. . . is my typical uniform at home. Long enough to cover, no question.
