Just looking through a manual for the heritage arms pistols. The last commandment is one I have never seen before. “Locking your firearm may result in your death due to slow accessibility”. I would agree with this commandment however I was surprised to see in the safety card. Just thought I was share and see if anyone else has seen something like this. (It’s the last one)

No, interesting. Does the Heritage have any other safety locking device like S&W or Ruger revolvers do? Only seen one in a gun case but never closely examined one.

They are decent revolvers for the price. No locking devices on the gun. Only the obligatory cable lock that comes in the box. (Btw they make decent bicycle locks) Good for Heritage arms for looking out for my safety. I am sure for some people it is their ONLY gun.

Taurus puts a similar, but more detailed disclaimer in their manuals, and has done so for years. It's possible that their acquisition of Heritage Arms may have resulted in that being added.

Securing your firearm may inhibit access in a defensive situation and may result in injury or death.

I own several Taurus handguns (only two purchased new with manuals, and one was so long ago that I have no idea what was in the manual back then) and two HRR revolvers. They've all been good to me so far.
