This one followed me home yesterday. Got into it a little deeper than I would have liked but I don't see guns like this very often. It is cleaner than a lean licked dog! Totally unmolested, trigger stop is still intact, wich is very unusual.

Doesnt appear to have any more than a few hundred rounds through it.

Trigger pull averaged 1.4 lbs. S/A - 5.4 lbs. D/A with a Lyman Digital scale.

Grips show build date as Nov. 14, 1985. Gun had Pachmayers on it when I bought it, the unused Goncalo Alves Target grips were in the box with it. Not a scratch on them.

Gun has the factory four position adjustable front sight, for four different ranges.

That’s a nice one!
I haven’t seen one of the silhouettes with a 6” barrel, the only ones I’ve seen are the 8 3/8” and 10.5” models. (29, 686, etc)

Great find .

Stay safe.

I worked on a seller a few years back at the big Tulsa Show. He had one of those, not as slick, but with all the factory papers and box.

We couldn't get close,a I left without it. I still think of that revolver, a bit wistfully at times.

....which is the same way I think of that strawberry blonde I met at Virginia Beach in 1980...

Holy guacamole!

That is certainly a stand-out for posted pistol of the month.... at least!

DAMN fine score.

I'd shoot the bejeepers outa that beauty.

Todd.
Not really a great score Todd, I am in it for a grand! But some times you just have to ask yourself, ***?

I will get to shoot it this weekend, pretty excited about it! Thanx for the kind comments!

Nice score even at that price! I remember when S&W came out with that model and thinking what a great idea that adjustable front sight was! Really like it on the 6" barrel too!
