Bayou Rifles opened back up late last week with restrictions and all events are cancelled. Saturday morning was busier than I've seen in a while, but not at all crowded. American was closed down for three weeks by County orders, but reopened by TX AG orders. I noticed when they reopened, as I drive by there on my way home from work. Good for them!

I enjoy reloading and shooting what I make.
I find that one without the other is a bit awkward, to say the least. (Ying with no Yang!)

Everybody knows of a lot of Ranges that are closed.
Lets hear about those that ARE open!
Mine was CLOSED,
BUT, if I hadn't accidently been passing through en route to somewhere else, I wouldn't have known they are now OPEN..

Let's help others like me who are addicted to both reloading AND shooting!

I know of (2) Outdoor Ranges in Houston.

American Shooting Center, (Shot there today!) G. Bush Park, NW Houston. Open to the Public. www.americanshootingcenters.com Social distancing required.

Carter's Country, Treaschwig Road in Spring, TX. (NE Houston) Open to the Public

(I personally have not been there lately, but here's what's on their website: )

The range off my back deck, is open. The range where I collect lead and brass, is closed. I don't know if all the ranges, in Wis. are closed, but the gate was chained on the first day, of the lockdown, for the one by me, and that is suppose to last until May 26, according to our gov.

Yes. I go to one in one of our National Forest land Areas and I dont think it ever closed.

My closest gun range is considered an essential service because LE uses it to practice. The range also sells guns which city and county authorities are prohibited from regulating....that's the State's purview in TX. While civil unrest is unlikely, it's best to maintain firearm proficiency in times of uncertainty.

God bless Texas!!! My range and my Stepson's gun shop have never been closed during this mess.

If by "range" you mean my buddies 40 acres that has a berm / barrels / RR ties, etc. then yes. It's open.
Usage fee is 6 pack of hydraulic pudding per visit.
Been buying a lot of beer lately.
