I know he says he is from Louisiana, but he has to be from a different planet.

I just watched a YouTube with him putting 6 50BMG on target in under a second. Unbelievable!
I think a lot of folks in north Louisiana consider south Louisiana another planet, his accent is definitely not north Louisiana.

And then he married Kay, Jim Clark's (the noted 1911 smith) daughter, also a noted competitive shooter. . .

Their daughter Lena is hopefully going to be dominating the sport for another generation.
Don't they own Bayou Bullets?

Ok, it is time to disclosure the truth.
He was born in planet Lead, few Galaxies after Saturn's moons.
Where kids have to spit bullets of melting lead in order to hunt small kriters to eat during long and dark winters.
God sent to us to teach the terraqueous people how to survive under dures of competitions and filthy democreatures.
We have been blessed since he brought wife and daughter for further generations on American soil.

I know that it’s off of the OP topic , but Rufus Hussy is my newest hero.
A Y shaped stick , some rubber tubing and an irregular rock - phenomenal!

Jerry is originally from Ascension Parish, LA. I don’t remember what town, maybe Gonzales.
I used to shoot with him and other shooters in the area at The Range (indoor range) in Baker LA. Back in the 80’s. Where we practice on Wednesday and Sunday nights for upcoming pistol matches.
Like Old Dog said, you should see him shoot in person, amazing.

That explains the accent.

Not the first time I have been envious of you!!

I like the guy who said that he could do everything exactly like Jerry does it and it would still result in half Jerry’s speed and accuracy.

Were you part of the group that shot “wet”, as he called it?
