It's my wife's fault really. I saw this one at the LGS the other day, and was going to pass on it, but Nooooooooo....she had to come along and twist my arm and make me put this on layaway.
1966 Colt Trooper, 38 Special. I knew Colt made the Trooper in 38, but I don't think I've ever seen one, live and in living color.
It's got the box, some of the papers, and I honestly don't think it's been fired since 12/27/1966. That's the date on a factory test target in the box. Five rounds of 38 wadcutter in a group that I could cover with my thumb from I think it said 30 feet.
Anyway...that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
