wow, that sounds like paranoid crazy. We know its not, the NSA acknowledged it, even before Snowden, the NSA had to justify its funding, and anyone watching knew what they were building. As for the Chinese, even aside from cellphones, I'm sure they got into the ATF files, remember those surveillance chips the government bought? But the US can't be practically invaded.... now, a real worry is a Warren/Bob O'Roark type administration using those files for "registration", door to door searches.

At 34 I found the 1984 original to be a teenage schoolboy's fantasy but a fairly enjoyable time waster. The 2012 remake (not sequel) was hard to watch and I really can't remember the ending.

The Finnish Jatimatic 9mm machine pistol that the Russian Colonel carried towards the end of the original movie sure got my attention. Took me months of searching different weapons of the world books, no internet then, to identify it.
