It's an Alfa Proj revolver that they're importing. Supposedly nice revolvers (for the price). Not sure if RIA is importing all flavors, but they've also made them in .32 S&W Long, .357, .22lr, .22 mag... Hard to find in the US, but maybe not anymore?

Very interesting. I wouldn't want it in 357 but in 9mm it might be nice with a three inch barrel. After they've been on the market for a while and prices come down and some feedback from owners I could be tempted.

I missed out on a Alfa-Proj on Gun Broker a few years back .. it was a 3 inch barreled 38spl , it went on a good deal ...

From what I have read they are really great quality...

I lean toward Charters.. but when this buying spree from the Virus is over , I may look into picking up one in 9mm ... or 327 Fed ... ... yep

Depends on the price tag, but for about $400, I'd definitely end up with one.
Sadly the list price is over $500, and I've only seen them for full price.
Hopefully the $ will come down in 6 months or so.
:D

As a owner of a LCR9mm which I love, I have to say I am definitely interested in the New RIA. I see it is made in the Czech Republic, which I consider a good thing.

In my estimation that was an exceedingly well done video review. I found my self rooting for the groups to tighten up in the portion where it showed him and targets in the split screen view.

Looks like a nice offering from RIA.

I will wait until RIA has a 9mm version of M200 that sells in $200 range. Likely have to wait forever!:(

Where I live (Austria) they are to have for a couple of years now.
For people who don't want to sell a kidney for a S&W 686 or similar and don't think too much about a Taurus, the Alfa is a interesting alternative.
A friend of mine has one in 9 Para with the 6" barrel and it's very ok. It's not great or anything special but it's really ok.
Hits dead center and if you are not shopping for a name but for value it's a very decent deal.
