When the Ruger PC9 was first coming out there were wild tales of OTHER magwell inserts for magazines other than Glock or Ruger American.

Well it has bee a while.

Anything else out there like Beretta 92, BHP, Sig, CZ 75, S&W …..anything?

I sent them a email awhile back and they sent me a vauge response that they were looking into it but wouldn't bring anything to market until it was reliable. I'd definitely be interested in a CZ 75 magwell.

Yeah since I replaced my blocks with cz products I'd love to be able to use cz mags in a PCC.. Hopefully it'll happen soon...

IMO Ruger won't be R&D'ing any magwells for their Carbines because they just won't sell enough of them to break even on their tooling and production costs. They already sell them with a Glock mag well that is easily the most popular pistol mag in the US.

Genius for Ruger to sell them with that magwell, and I see no economical reason for them to produce other options. Aftermarket companies could do it and maybe turn a profit but I still doubt it would be profitable.

I'm not aware of any magwell other than the two that come with the gun.

I'm kind of surprised that there aren't even any aftermarket ones.

I agree that it probably isn't profitable for Ruger, the rumbling about other mag wells is more like an encouraging word to the aftermarket to step up and try. Somewhere there is a guy with a 3d printer and time on his hands...

Yeah I always assumed the aftermarket is where these wells would come from. Just look at the 10/22, how much of the offerings for that started as aftermarket? I contacted Ruger just to give them the benefit since it is their product in the first place. Question is what company would be most likely to take this on so we can pester them?

A magazine company. Like tapco or magpul, maybe even promag. I am hoping that psa takes it up and offers them with three Beretta 30 round mags or something...
