Odd thought, rifle in .45 Auto-Rim?

Just curious; what model Thompson do you have? I just recently acquired the Kahr M1 World War II version; haven't had a chance to shoot it due to THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN ---- oooops, I mean covid19. :oops:
Mine is also an M1 configuration.
 
Wasn't Jeff Cooper's Thumper concept chambered in .45 Autorim, or am I misremembering?

Cooper's concept for thumped was significantly more powerful than 45 ACP/Auto-Rim. Cooper’s own definition did not mention a specific cartridge but it was to be big-bore carbine (.44 caliber, or larger) capable of taking 1,000-pound critters at 250 yards.

This idea was supposed brought to life in the wildcat the 45 Professional that became the 450 Bushmaster.
