Greg Cote LLC? Any good?

A few years ago I purchased a Taurus PT92C and needed the short 12 round magazines and was suggested to contact him. He politely wrote back that he did not have any but knew of someone that did and he sent me there. I felt he didn't have to do that but that's the way he operates. It was a very encouraging experience all around.

Top Gun is AWESOME as well and they may very well be psychic in terms of shipping. I swear they have shipped items out the door before I have completed the transaction. Top Gun is a little more expensive comparatively speaking but they are WORTH EVERY PENNY. A couple anecdotes.

-One time I screwed up something with my FFL. I realized this about 15 minutes after I made my order, about a half hour after I made a call to them to make the changes necessary. Their reply was "we've already talked to your FFL, got everything fixed and your item is packed and will ship in a bit." THIRTY MINUTES.

-One time they apologized to me because they shipped me something a day and half after my order.

-They always reply to email and have always been pleasant and beyond helpful on the phone.

Point is Top Gun is awesome.

I've bought a large number of Mec-Gar magazines from him, they work well and his prices have been great, the shipping prompt and not overly expensive. I buy most of my magazines from him. Never any problems. Buy with confidence, if you're unsure about something he picks up the phone when you call.

My experience noted above is similar in the sense that he went out of his way when it wasn't needed.


I've told coworkers for a couple decades now that when supplier sends you somewhere else, its a sign of a really good supplier.

Actually.... I will add one more thing

GC's web site isn't the easiest one out there to surf, but if you take the time to do so, you'll find some pretty cool stuff that you won't find elsewhere (at least I didn't). Machined aluminum mag extensions that increase capacity and are compatible with standard mags is one.

(A lot of the poly extensions have to have thicker material above the slot and this throws off your mag catch notch location, requiring either modification or a special production run mag with re-located catch)

I just ordered some CZ mags from him based on you all. Same price as bigger stores but I like to support smaller shops when I can. Thanks fellas!
